Renault India assured that it will reflect the new GST of 5% and 18% applicable as of September 22, 2025, with huge price cuts. According to the automaker, this is done to make cars cheaper and drive sales throughout the festive season.

Prices at Renault are being lowered by significant amounts:
1. Renault Kwid (Entry-level):
The price has fallen by as much as 55,095.
2. Renault Triber:
Price discounted by 80,195.
3. Renault Kiger:
Cost cut down to 96,395.

1. Bookings:
Customers are able to commence making bookings at the new prices as soon as possible at any of the Renault dealerships in the country.
2. Delivery:
New prices will be used on deliveries on and after September 22, 2025, on the first day of Navratri.
Understanding the New GST Structure
- Petrol, LPG, CNG vehicles less than 1200cc, and less than 4000mm shift to 18% GST/28%.
- Diesel vehicles with an engine up to 1,500 cc and a length that does not exceed 4,000 mm shift to 18% GST.
- Up to 350 cc motorcycles will now be taxed at 18 percent rather than 28 percent.
- The vehicles with 1,200 cc or above in length of 4,000 mm or more, including high-end motorcycles and racing cars subject to 40% GST.
- Small hybrid vehicles work to their advantage; EVs are at 5% GST.
