The 2026 Tata Nexon is still known as one of India’s safest small SUVs. The revised model now comes with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in its top variants. It already has two 5-star safety ratings from Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP. With this decision, Tata Motors shows that it is serious about merging cutting-edge technologies with great build quality.
DON'T MISS
Features that help drivers in advanced ways
The Level 2 ADAS suite is the best thing about the 2026 Nexon. It has a lot of safety features, such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Centering System (LCS), High Beam Assist (HBA), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).
These systems use cameras and radar to keep an eye on the area around the car all the time. They warn the driver of possible dangers and can step in to stop or lessen the severity of crashes. This makes driving on the highway and in the city safer and less stressful.
Better protection with a stronger structure
Tata has also improved the Nexon’s structural safety. The SUV has a stronger body cage, ventilated front disc brakes, six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and hill-hold control. A 360-degree camera with a washer makes it even easier to see when making tight turns.
These improvements make the Nexon safer and more stable, going beyond its original 5-star rating. Tata keeps telling family buyers that its “bulletproof” structure is strong.
Prices and Options
The Fearless+ PS DCT petrol model with ADAS begins at Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom). There are options for petrol, diesel, and CNG, as well as the new Red Dark Edition, which gives the car a sportier appeal.
