Refreshed Exterior
In terms of exterior design, the new Tata Punch EV facelift incorporates multiple exterior changes that enhance the rugged nature of the Punch, while still being true to the original rugged style. These changes include new front and rear bumpers, new lighting, including new connected LED taillights, which give the Punch a new, modern and sleek look.
New exterior colours have also been added (brown and yellow), making the individual compact SUV stand out in urban settings. The Tata Punch EV continues to possess its unmistakable EV styling cues, including the unique charge port cover and LED daytime running lights.
The side profile of the Punch remains very similar to its predecessor; vibrant, yet compact, while maintaining a strong SUV stance.
Battery, Range and Performance
The Tata Punch EV facelift is offered with two battery pack options. The first option is a thirty kilowatt hour battery pack, while the larger version uses a forty kilowatt hour lithium iron phosphate battery pack.
The larger battery pack delivers a certified driving range of up to four hundred sixty-eight kilometres under standard testing conditions. Real-world driving range is expected to fall between three hundred thirty-five and three hundred fifty-five kilometres, depending on driving conditions.
The vehicle also supports sixty-five kilowatt direct current fast charging, which allows the battery to charge from twenty per cent to eighty per cent in about twenty-six minutes. A fifteen-minute fast charge can add approximately one hundred thirty-five kilometres of driving range.
Features and Technology
Higher variants of the Punch EV facelift offer a wide range of modern features. These include a twelve-point-three-inch touchscreen infotainment system, advanced driver assistance systems, ventilated front seats, a voice-controlled sunroof, a three-hundred-sixty-degree camera, and wireless charging.
Safety features include six airbags, electronic stability control, and hill hold assist as standard across variants.
