2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift to launch in India next month, All you need to know

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift: The latest generation of the Swift will be on sale next month, as Maruti Suzuki has officially confirmed. Here is all we currently know about the all-new Swift, which is set to launch in India during the second week of May.

2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift powertrain details

The 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K12 dual-jet petrol engine will be replaced with a brand-new 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine in the next fourth-generation Swift. This motor, code-named Z12E, will also be standard on all new Swift models and come with a mild hybrid configuration.

Features and Interior

This year Swift’s interior changes are anticipated to be more substantial, with a redesigned dashboard that houses a new free-standing 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additional features anticipated to be included are wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted buttons, cruise control, automated climate control, 360-degree parking camera with dashcam support, and push-button start/stop.

The India-spec Swift is anticipated to come equipped with an electronic stability system, six airbags, and ABS with EBD for further safety. But the most significant change to the fourth-generation Swift’s feature set is the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which comes equipped with functions like automatic high beam assist and autonomous braking support, among others. Still, it is questionable if the India-spec Swift would have ADAS features.

Expected price in India

In comparison to the present model, Maruti Suzuki’s newest Swift is expected to cost more money. Ex-showroom, we anticipate that the new Swift would cost between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10 lakh.
