All-new Nissan Kicks revealed, likely to compete with Creta N Line if it comes to India, Details

Nissan Kicks: Nissan, a Japanese automaker, is preparing an international product lineup enhancement. The brand unveiled the next generation of Kicks to provide a broad selection of automobiles. The cover was unwrapped prior to its formal appearance at the 2024 New York Motor Show. In this article, we will tell you all you need to know about this amazing compact SUV.

Nissan Kicks design details

With a very identical appearance, front fascia, and side profile, the forthcoming Kicks appear to have been influenced by the Mitsubishi XForce, which is sold in ASEAN.

With a glasshouse reminiscent of the XForce and a tapering roofline reminiscent of a coupe, the vehicle boasts completely LED headlights with striking Day Time Running lights (DRLs). The vehicle also has pronounced wheel arches that are complemented by substantial matte black cladding throughout. It is reported that the top model would have 19-inch alloy wheels, which will set it apart from other competitors in the class.

Features onboard

Nissan claims the new Kicks’ interior is made of higher-quality materials than the previous model. A 12.3-inch infotainment screen is the main appeal, but there are other amenities as well. Though the new Kicks’ AC vents and screen appear superior to their Mitsubishi cousin, the dashboard still features a double-layered design similar to the Xforce. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are included, along with four USB-C outlets, a wireless charging pad, and touch-sensitive climate and HVAC controls. Another feature of the new Kicks that the Mitsubishi XForce lacks is a panoramic sunroof. A few variations come equipped with BOSE speakers positioned on the headrest.

Powertrain details

Performance-wise, a 2.0L inline four-cylinder NA engine with Nissan’s Xtronic CVT produces 141 horsepower.

Will it come to India?

We don’t anticipate the new Nissan Kicks arriving in India very soon. But in case it does, it might compete with the Hyundai Creta N Line as both of them may have similar power output.
