Bajaj Pulsar 400 vs KTM Duke 390: Pulsar 400 possibilities emerged with the debut of the Bajaj Dominar 400. There should have been a Pulsar 400 long ago, even though the Pulsar NS200 was introduced in India about eleven years ago. Now, the long-anticipated bike is finally coming to life and is expected to launch very soon. It will be in direct competition with the famous KTM Duke 390. In this article, we will compare both of these bikes and see which one is better.

Bajaj Pulsar 400 vs KTM Duke 390

Powertrain Details

The 373.3cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine of the Bajaj Dominar 400, which produces 40PS and 35Nm, is most likely the same engine that powers the Bajaj Pulsar NS400. Like the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, the bike is probably constructed on a perimeter chassis that has been reinforced to accommodate the larger engine.

The KTM Duke 390 produces greater power and torque than the previous generation thanks to its all-new 399 CC engine. The KTM 390 Duke has a 6-speed transmission and can reach a maximum power of 46 PS and a peak torque of 39 Nm at 8,500 rpm.

Features onboard

The Pulsar 400 is expected to have full-LED lighting, a fully digital cluster, and dual-channel ABS as standard features. Hardware should include a monoshock, inverted forks, and discs on both ends.

The KTM Duke 390 boasts several notable features, such as a newly designed 5-inch TFT instrument cluster that is smartphone-connected and features call/music control, turn-by-turn navigation, and redesigned switchgear with 4-way menu switches on the left handlebar. In addition to segment-first launch control, riding modes include Street, Rain, and Track.

Price in India

It is anticipated that the Bajaj Pulsar will retail at between Rs 1.9 and Rs 2.0 lakh (ex-showroom).

Priced at 3,10,520 (ex-showroom Delhi), the KTM Duke 390 is somewhat expensive. Electronic Orange and Atlantic Blue are the two colours available for the bike.
