Powertrain Details

An 187.5 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 24.5 PS and 18.7 Nm at 9750 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox, powers the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Front telescopic fork and rear mono shock are the suspension systems used on the Pulsar RS200. Along with dual-channel ABS as standard, it has a front 300 mm disc brake and a rear 230 mm disc brake.

The Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine with an oil cooler. It produces 20.82PS and 17.25Nm in sport mode. The output is restricted to 17.32 PS at 7800 rpm and 16.51 Nm at 5750 rpm, respectively, in the Urban and Rain modes. The engine is coupled to the wheels by a 5-speed gearbox. The “Glide Through Traffic” function of the Apache 200 is helpful for navigating around clogged sections of the road. The ECU progressively increases the revs to prevent the bike from stopping suddenly. comparable to that of Suzuki’s large-capacity motorcycles.

Features onboard

Together with twin LED daytime running lights (DRLs), LED indicators and an LED tail lamp, the motorcycle has a dual-projector headlamp configuration. However, smartphone connectivity is not a possibility and the semi-digital instrument cluster may appear a little archaic. With the Pulsar RS200, vision is improved at night thanks to the backlit switch cubes.

The RTR 200 4V has an adjustable suspension, three ride modes, and brake and clutch levers. This package also includes the fully digital LCD instrument cluster that made its debut on the TVS NTorq 125. Smartphones are compatible with it. Along with the usual trip-related information, the instrument console now features a lap timer, text and phone notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation. It also shows the lean angle when it’s connected to your phone.
