How to Deactivate Paytm FASTag Account and Purchase New FASTag; Check Details

How to Purchase New FASTag: The National Highway Authority of India has recently removed Paytm from the list of authorised FASTag providers. Now Paytm is not allowed to issue new FASTag and the fintech giant is no longer an authorised FastTag provider. All the FASTag issued by Paytm so far will stop working from March 15, 2024. If you have used Paytm Fastag and you have money in your Fastag Account, Paytm will refund you that amount after March 15. In such a case, every user needs to switch to other alternatives and delete their Paytm Fastag account until March 15.

How to Delete Paytm FASTag Account

• Firstly, open the Paytm App on your smartphone. 

• Tap on the profile icon displayed in the top left corner of your smartphone.

• Navigate to the Help and Support option. 

• Then, go to the “Banking Services and Payments” option and tap on it. 

• Then, select the Fastag option displayed on the screen. 

• Now tap on the “Chat with us” option. 

• Then, generate a deactivation request and your account will be deactivated soon. 

How to Purchase a New Fastag From NHAI 

• Firstly download “My FASTag App” from Google Play Store. 

• After installation, open the app and check for the “Buy Fastag” Option. 

• Then, you will receive a link to buy Fastag from Amazon and Flipkart.

• Go to the buying link and tap on the activate option. 

• Before choosing the authorised provider Amazon or Flipkart, scan the provided QR Code.
