Hyundai Creta N Line Vs Volkswagen Taigun GT: Yesterday, Hyundai launched the N Line edition of its popular sub-compact SUV, the Hyundai Creta. Now, the Hyundai Creta N Line is between us. The sub-4 metre SUV is priced at Rs. 16.82 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. However, the Creta N Line has entered into a fiercely competitive sub-compact SUV segment which is quite difficult to be ruled by any particular brand. Hyundai Creta N Line competes with its rivals, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun and Skoda Kushaq. In this article, we will compare the recently launched Creta N Line with one of its worthy rivals, the Volkswagen Taigun GT. So, check which one will be a better choice for you below. 

Hyundai Creta N Line Vs Volkswagen Taigun: Powertrain 

The newly launched N Line comes equipped with a potent 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 148 bhp and a peak torque of 250 Nm. This powerhouse allows the Creta N Line to accelerate from 0 to 100 in just 11.3 seconds. On the other hand, the VW Taigun GT comes powered by a 1.5L TSI EVO engine that churns out 150 bhp of maximum power and 250 Nm of torque. Being a TSI EVO unit, Taigun’s engine may perform better in terms of acceleration. Both Creta N Line and VW Taigun are available in manual and automatic transmission options which allows them to provide drivers with a smooth riding experience. 

Hyundai Creta N Line Vs Volkswagen Taigun GT: Features

The Creta N Line seems to be a clear winner in terms of tech features when compared to the Taigun GT. The N Line gets features such as an electrically powered panoramic sunroof, wireless mobile charger, fully digital instrument cluster and premium quality Bose sound system. Apart from this, the Creta N Line has much more to showcase when it comes to tech such as Hyundai patent Bluelink technology which allows users to remotely control the features and access real-time information about traffic and road conditions. 

The Taigun GT is also not so far behind in terms of tech as it also boasts features like a digital instrument cluster, high-quality audio setup, wireless charging and a sunroof. Additionally, Taigun GT also comes with connected tech which offers features such as remote unlock/lock and stolen vehicle tracking. 

Hyundai Creta N Line and VW Taigun GT: Price in India 

Hyundai Creta N Line comes with a price starting price tag of Rs. 16.77 lakh and goes up to Rs. 20.29 lakh for the top-end N10 DCT variant. Meanwhile, the Taigun GT is priced at Rs. 16.77 lakh in India. All prices are ex-showroom.
