Philips has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of new smart and premium TV range. The company has launched three new smart TVs under the Philips 7900 series. In which 4K resolution has been offered in all variants. Along with this, three-way Ambilight technology has been given in the TV. That is, these TVs come with in-built LED bulbs, which are capable of showing many colors.
The company says that with the help of new lighting technology, the experience of watching content on the display becomes more immersive. At the same time, users can also use the lounge mode in the TV, with the help of which, even when the TV is turned off, there is a facility to turn on the back-light on all three sides.
Detail about the features and price of Philips’ new TV series
The company has launched the 7900 Ambilite TV series in the market in three sizes of 70-inch, 65-inch and 55-inch. In which the price of the top model is Rs 1,89,990. The mid model is priced at Rs 1,49,990, while the base model can be bought for Rs 99,990. Talking about the sale of these TVs, they are being sold at select offline stores. While the company has not given information about the online sale at the moment.
European design is seen in all three models of this series. Talking about the features, less bezels and a wide screen are available for viewing content. TVs come with LED panels.
Users can watch content on the TV at Ultra-HD (4K) resolution. Talking about the processor, the quad-core processor has been given in the Philips 7900 TV series. In terms of storage, 8GB of storage is available. At the same time, special speakers of 20W speaker have been given. All TVs run on Android 10 OS. With the help of which many apps as well as games can be enjoyed. Along with this, users can also control smart-home products with the help of TV. In terms of connectivity, the TV has four HDMI ports, two USB ports, a digital audio port and a headphone port. For wireless connectivity, Chromecast, Bluetooth v5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi are available.
Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support have also been provided for watching content on OTT platforms like Netflix and Prime Video. Apart from this, talking about Ambilight technology in TV, many modes have been given in it.
