Vivo launched the Vivo Y400 Pro 5G in India, it added another smartphone to its lineup. This stylish mid-range phone costs ₹24,999. The smartphone in the affordable Y-series has a curved AMOLED screen, a powerful MediaTek CPU, AI features, and super-fast charging. It feels like a flagship phone.
Design and Display
The Vivo Y400 Pro 5G has a curved 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with HDR support, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. With a thickness of only 7.49mm, it's one of the thinnest curved-screen phones in its class. It looks sleek and high-end.
How it Works
A 4nm method was used to make the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset, which runs the device. The phones come in two different styles: ₹24,999 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and ₹26,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Extended RAM 3.0 gives users up to 8GB of extra virtual RAM, which makes switching between tasks smooth.
The phone has Funtouch OS 14 and runs on Android 14. It comes with 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security fixes. Vivo also added a number of AI-powered tools, such as Circle to Search, Note Assist, and Screen Translate.
Extra Ordinary Camera Quality
A 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and a 2MP depth sensor are both built into the Y400 Pro. It comes with a 32MP front camera for taking selfies. It's a good choice for content makers because both the front and back cameras can record 4K video.
Charging and the battery
The phone has a 5,500 mAh battery that can be charged quickly with 90 W. Vivo says it can charge the phone from 0% to 50% in 19 minutes and from 0% to 100% in less than an hour.
Connectivity and Features: It has stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, an IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C. It also allows dual SIM 5G. It also has an IP65 grade, which means it can handle water and dust.
