Xiaomi Redmi A1: Xiaomi is prepared to introduce a line of Redmi smartphones on september 6. Redmi A1, Redmi 11 Prime 5G, and Redmi 11 Prime 4G are included. In fact, the Redmi A1+ is rumoured to exist as well, but use caution when believing it. Returning to the Redmi A1, the phone will be a hit with that model.
It already has a landing page on Xiaomi’s website with a preview of the design of the phone. The specifications are sparse, but since the phone launches in just two days, the full specs sheet has been posted online, providing details on what the phone will offer.
Xiaomi Redmi A1: Look & appearance
The Xiaomi Redmi A1 is an entry-level smartphone with a waterdrop-shaped notch at the front, according to 91Mobiles. The display is enormous and has thick, flat bezels on the side. The back is made of plastic (obviously), but it has a leather-like texture that gives it a slightly more upscale appearance. On the right are the power and volume rockers, and on the left is a SIM card slot. At the back, there is a quadricle camera bump with a dual camera setup.
Weight and colour variant
The phone weighs about 191 grammes and has dimensions of 164.9 x 76.75 x 9.09 mm. However, once the phone is officially released, it will confirm more about specifications . According to the Chinese manufacturer, the Redmi A1 comes in Blue, Green, and Black colour options.
Specifications for the Xiaomi Redmi A1
Although there are no details available, the Xiaomi Redmi A1 landing page mentions that the phone has an A1 display. Again, there is no information on the processor the phone will use, but we can see an A1 processor powered by MediaTek.
Regarding the Redmi A1’s purported specifications, experts claims that it has a 6.52″ HD+ panel with a 1,600x720p resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. A MediaTek Helio A22 SoC is present (possibly the reason the landing page refers to a “A1 processor”); 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage and 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM are combined in this unit. MicroSD cards can be used to increase the storage to 1TB. A 3GB RAM version is also available, but it needs to be seen.
The next feature is an 8MP primary rear camera with a secondary dual camera setup, and a 5MP front camera. The specifications also mention a 5000mAh battery with 10W fast charging technology, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2.4GHz WiFi, and support for Bluetooth 5.0.
