Ramdev Baba on a mission! Yoga guru to launch four premium products tomorrow; kickstarts ‘Mission Palm Plantation’

Yoga Guru Ramdev will launch a range of premium products in a press conference tomorrow (June 16) in New Delhi. This launch is under well laid out vision of Patanjali Foods Limited aiming for high growth and turnover of Rs. 50000 crore in the coming 5 years. This launch will further the contribution of the Food and FMCG business into a bucket of overall revenue and EBITA of the company. The launch of these world-class products along with tie-ups with the World’s majors will take the company to the next level and will enrich realization of the high potential of India’s most trusted brands Patanjali and Nutrela.

New products to be launched by Patanjali 

Under the high growth vision of Baba Ramdev, the signature launch of four premium products will take place tomorrow at 12 PM at Speakers Hall, Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, New Delhi. The four products to be launched tomorrow are mentioned below: 

  1. Nutrela Sports range of natural nutraceuticals 
  2. Nutrela MaxxNuts range of premium dry fruits 
  3. Nutrela MaxxMillets – the millet chock cereal 
  4. Patanjali Premium Biscuit Range – 7 grain/Ragi/Digestive 

Mission Palm Plantation 

With an aim to intensify the production of homegrown edible oil, the Yoga Guru has launched ‘Mission Palm Plantation’ which will connect with 5 lakh farmers across the country. Baba Ramdev said the company has already planted 1 crore palm saplings. The farmers will plant palm saplings in 15-20 lakh acre areas in the next five years. Currently, around 40000 farmers have been associated with Patanjali in the ‘Mission Palm Plantation’. But in the coming five years, as many as 5 lakh farmers will join hands for the mission, the Yoga Guru said. Baba Ramdev said this will help the country to be self-sufficient when it comes to edible oils. Andhra Pradesh currently is at the top in Palm plantation, followed by north-east countries, he said, adding all in all, 12 states are involved in Palm production at present.

EBITDA of 2,000 crores in next five years

In the coming five to seven years, the aim is to generate an EBITDA of 2,000 crores by palm plantation, Baba Ramdev said expressing confidence in the new mission. The project will not only benefit investors who have entrusted the Yoga Guru with the mega project but is also expected to work in the favour of the people of the country following the footsteps of Patanjali’s health first motto.
