Toyota Innova: The government of India has recently stopped the registration of 8-seater cars as private vehicles. Announcing the latest rule, the officials have declared to register these cars under a new category called “Omnibus”. Since 22 May 2023, the government site is not letting these cars register as individual names. Instead, they will register these cars under a new category name.

All You Need To Know About A New Rule For 8-seater Cars

According to the Ministry Of Road Transport & Highways, this newly generated category comes under the “Transport” category, which demands from these vehicles to have fitness certification. 

Owing to this recent development in the vehicle registration process, many customers of Toyota Innova Hycross and Inova Cysta facing trouble as they aren’t able to register their cars on the website. 

Hence, the company has come forward to discuss the matter with the government. It remains to be seen how this matter will go further. If any latest development comes up, we will let you know about it. 

Price Of Toyota Innova Hycross and Inova Cysta

The price of an 8-seater Toyota Innova Hycross starts from Rs 18 Lakh and goes up to Rs 29Lakh. On the other hand, Toyota Innova Crysta may start from Rs 18 Lakh and goes up to Rs 25 Lakh. Since the government has announced a new registration rule for 8-seater or more vehicles, you may have difficulty registering your cars on “Parivahan Website”.
