Toyota Upcoming SUVs

Toyota Upcoming SUVs: At the debut of the Land Cruiser Prado, Japanese automaker Toyota formally unveiled two more vehicles, or more specifically, their outlines, continuing a recent trend of teasing next models with new product releases. The Century SUV, which focuses on luxury, was previously announced by Toyota with the debut of the Alphard and Vellfire MPVs.

Toyota Upcoming SUVs: Compact Cruiser EV

Toyota teased two SUV silhouettes near the end of the Land Cruiser Prado unveiling event. Based on the design, we believe one of them could be the Compact Cruiser EV, an all-electric SUV with an off-road focus that was inspired by the FJ Cruiser. The Compact Cruiser EV was unveiled as a concept vehicle in late 2021, and it went on to win the Car Design Award in 2022 against vehicles like the Volvo Concept Recharge, Porsche Mission R, and Audi Skysphere, among others.

Company launching three SUVs

At the Vellfire’s launch event, Toyota also unveiled a Century SUV in addition to the two shapes. The sedan, which has been produced by Century since 1967, will be followed by the SUV. The Century SUV, which is expected to make its debut in late 2023, may compete with models like the Bentley Bentayga.

Know about the new lineup

The third iteration of Toyota’s opulent Vellfire MPV was just released for the Indian market. It is included in their lineup alongside the Hilux, Fortuner, Innova Hycross, and Camry. Toyota has expanded its lineup in the Indian market thanks to its global relationship with Suzuki with cars like the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which was created in partnership with Maruti Suzuki. Toyota also sells the Glanza, which is essentially a Maruti Suzuki Baleno with a different paint job.
