Tata Nexon CNG: Among the largest producers both domestically and internationally is Tata Motors. The company introduces vehicles in the luxury, mid-range, and budget price ranges each year. This time, Tata Motors modified the Nexon to the Nexon i-CNG by adding a CNG kit. One of the most popular cars in the nation is the Tata Nexon. At the Bharat Mobility Show 2024, Tata Motors took main stage and unveiled the new Nexon i-CNG. By doing this, the Indian carmaker has surpassed Maruti Suzuki as the second manufacturer to provide a compact SUV along with a CNG kit installed by the firm. It is anticipated that the Nexon CNG will have five seats. The Nexon CNG is expected to face competition from the Hyundai Creta, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300 2024, Nexon, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The Nexon CNG is planned to debut on June 28, 2024, as a new addition to the 1199 cc class. The Nexon i-CNG offers several safety features, including a micro switch, leakage-proof materials, thermal incident protection, a single advanced ECU, direct start in CNG mode, automatic fuel switch, a modular fuel filter, and leak detection failure. It stands out from the competitors with its twin-cylinder CNG technology, which can contain 60 litres of petrol and has a useful boot area of roughly 230 litres. However, the petrol engine is modified to produce 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque.
