Artificial Intelligence: Is It Time For You To Make A Career Switch? Zoho Founder lists AI-Immune Jobs That Will Dominate The Next Decade

Artificial Intelligence: Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu has remarked that the era of artificial intelligence would force societies across the world to rethink the concepts of value, work and purpose with human-centric roles staying relevant as ever even though high-tech machines would possibly take over productivity.

Artificial Intelligence-The Take Of Sridhar Vembu

Vembu revealed activities such as teaching young minds, caring for children, returning to farming and looking after the elderly or working as forest rangers, serving as local temple priests and classic musicians.

Vembu went on to comment that individuals who select these life paths aren’t motivated by financial incentives in the first place. The Zoho founder remarked this is precisely the reason why AI could not diminish their sense of purpose.

A X user named Vishnu Agarwal refuted the suggestion saying that passion-led activities don’t help in surviving in an economic vacuum. Agarwal cited the Renaissance Florence where musicians and artists used to flourish financially because rich banking families such as the Medicis used to generate and distribute surplus wealth for them. He also issued a warning that the surplus that funds caregiving, art and culture may dry up if AI weakens core economic engines.

Leadership and people-focused roles may be secure against AI. Managers, HR professionals, teachers, and coaches motivate teams, resolve conflicts and make ethical decisions. Education in particular depends on mentorship, encouragement, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles, qualities machines cannot fully replicate.

Finally, jobs involving complex judgment and accountability such as legal professionals, policymakers and senior strategists remain critical. AI can analyze data, but humans are responsible for final decisions, ethical considerations, and societal impact.

The future of work is not about competing with AI but complementing it. By developing soft skills, adaptability and lifelong learning habits, professionals can position themselves in roles that technology enhances rather than replaces.
