Under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath, women entrepreneurship is gaining significant momentum in Uttar Pradesh, with thousands of women launching startups and contributing to innovation and economic growth.

According to information shared by the Government of Uttar Pradesh, more than 9,600 women-led startups are currently active in the state. These ventures are operating across sectors such as technology, agritech, healthcare and services, helping to promote innovation and inclusive development.

Officials said women entrepreneurs in Uttar Pradesh are increasingly embracing startups and innovation as a pathway to economic empowerment and self-reliance. The growing participation of women in these sectors is also creating new employment opportunities and strengthening the state’s startup ecosystem.
Data shared by the government indicates that women-led startups in the state are witnessing an annual growth rate of around 30 per cent, reflecting the rising confidence and participation of women in entrepreneurship and business innovation.
To support these initiatives, the state government has provided financial assistance through the startup fund, under which more than 900 women-led startups have received support worth around ₹325 crore.
In addition, under the NIDHI Scheme, around 25 women-led startups have received financial assistance to help them scale their businesses and develop innovative solutions.
Officials said the initiatives aim to encourage more women to enter the startup ecosystem and build sustainable businesses, further strengthening women-led innovation and entrepreneurship in Uttar Pradesh.
