Gold Rate Today: No respite for those buying yellow metal during wedding season, silver increases a notch, current rates in your city here

Gold Rate Today: Gold futures at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) that expire on April 5 increased marginally by Rs 42 to Rs 56,270 per ten grammes. The price of the precious metal was Rs 56,228 per ten grammes at close in the previous session.
In a similar vein, silver futures on the MCX that expire on March 3 moved up marginally, by Rs 28, to Rs 65,661 per kg, from the previous day’s close of Rs 65,633 per kg.

Gold Rate Today: What’s up on MCX?

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures with expiry due on April 5 rose marginally by Rs 42 to Rs 56,270 per ten grams. In the previous session, the precious metal quoted Rs 56,228 per ten grams at close. Likewise, silver futures with expiry due on March 3 edged higher by Rs 28 to Rs 65,661 per kg on MCX, against the previous day’s close of Rs 65,633 per kg.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

This is an exchange for commodities like the BSE is for stocks and shares. The MCX sells the products in bulk. 

The price for the asset depends upon various factors and is not determined at MCX. The MCX Silver rates are set by trading activity and a bunch of different other factors.

Gold Rate Today: As per IBJA, these are the prices of gold and silver

The price of gold and silver has decreased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has decreased from Rs 56770 per 10 kilos yesterday evening to Rs 56478 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, dropped from Rs. 66055 per kg. last evening to Rs. 65411 per kg.
