In a statement, the airline said it will compensate more than ₹500 crores to severely affected customers whose flights were cancelled and were left stranded at airports across the country.
Meanwhile, the airline’s board announced the appointment of an external aviation expert for carrying out a root-cause analysis of recent flight disruptions. Chief Aviation Advisors LLC, led by Captain John Illson, veteran aviation expert, will perform an independent expert review and assessment of the recent operational disruption and the contributing factors.
