Petrol and diesel price update [31 January, 2023]: There has been a rise in the prices of crude oil in the global market, but prices in the country have not been changed on Tuesday and costs have been steady for about eight months now.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states is due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.

Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
