Petrol and diesel price update [6 December, 2022]: There was a sharp decline in the prices of crude oil in the global market on Tuesday morning, but there is a jump in the retail prices of petrol and diesel released today.
The retail rate of petrol and diesel issued by the oil companies saw a rise today and its prices increased from UP to Bihar. However, the oil companies have not made any change in the oil prices today in the four metro cities of the country like Delhi-Mumbai.

The difference in the price of fuel in the states is due to the tax and the cost of transportation imposed by the central and state government.
How to check petrol and diesel price in your city:
Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates daily, taking into account crude and rupee-dollar rates in international markets. Daily price changes for fuel are effected at 6 am every day.
