In a major industrial breakthrough for Punjab, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s investment push has resulted in global two-wheeler giant Yamaha partnering with Hero MotoCorp to manufacture Electric Vehicle (EV) bikes in the state. The announcement was made through AAP Punjab, marking one of the biggest EV sector developments for the region.

Industry observers say this announcement signals growing corporate confidence in Punjab’s business-friendly environment.

Officials added that the Mann government has been aggressively promoting a green mobility agenda, offering incentives for EV companies, improving industrial infrastructure, and ensuring transparent administrative processes.
