Agnipath Yojana: The central government has started ‘Agnipath Yojana’ for the recruitment of all the three services. Protests are taking place across the country regarding this plan. Now the Home Ministry has made a big announcement regarding this.
The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced 10 percent reservation for Agniveers who have completed 4 years under the Agnipath scheme in the recruitment of Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) and Assam Rifles.
Agniveers will get age relaxation
Along with this, the Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to give a relaxation of 3 years in the maximum entry age limit prescribed to Agniveers for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles and for the first batch of Agniveers this relaxation will be 5 years.
The government has made another important change in the Agnipath scheme after raising the age limit from 21 to 23 years yesterday.
In another tweet, the Ministry of Home Affairs said, “The Ministry of Home Affairs has also decided to give relaxation of three years in the upper age limit prescribed to ‘Agniveers’ for recruitment in CAPFs and Assam Rifles. In addition, the first batch of ‘Agniveers’ will be given a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit prescribed.
It is worth noting that the Indian Army and Air Force recruitment process is going to start from June 24. On the other hand, the Navy will soon announce the date of recruitment.
