2023 MG Hector: Hector, the best-selling SUV for MG Motor India, will get a mid-life facelift in early 2023. On January 5th, the automaker will make its prices public along with the official debut of the MG Air EV. A recent RTO document states that the 2023 MG Hector makeover may only be available in one top-of-the-line Sharp trim.
The prices for the Sharp EX CVT petroleum, Sharp CVT petroleum, and Sharp diesel manual versions are, respectively, Rs 19.72 lakh, Rs 19.73 lakh, and Rs 20.36 lakh (all, ex-showroom). The pre-facelift SUV might be sold alongside the revised top-of-the-range Hector Sharp model.
The automaker disclosed that the new Hector's interior was designed as a "Symphony of Luxury." It boasts piano black and chrome detailing, a dual-layer dashboard, D-shaped air vents, and a dual-tone theme. A 14-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Next-Gen i-Smart technology and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility will be available in the 2023 MG Hector facelift.
The configuration of its engine won't be updated. The same 1.5L turbo petrol hybrid and 2.0L turbo diesel engines will be used in the upcoming 2023 MG Hector facelift. The variant can produce 170PS and 350Nm, while the petroleum hybrid engine produces 143PS and 250Nm. Standard will be a 6-speed manual transmission, while CVT automatic transmissions will only be available with the petrol hybrid models.
