2023 Tata Nexon EV: What’s New?

Updated Design

With sleek LED DRLs joined by a light strip that spans the width of the bonnet and a closed-off grille, the facelifted Nexon EV welcomes modernisation. The previous model was a little more typical in this regard, with the headlights and DRLs integrated into the same unit. It just had blue inserts over the standard Nexon, whereas the facelifted model is readily visible.

Interior updates

It gets a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata emblem in the centre, new seat fabric, and new cabin themes. All of these improvements have been carried over to its EV version, with some EV-specific design touches to distinguish the two.
The new Nexon EV receives a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, an automated parking brake, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a touch-based panel for AC controls, a height-adjustable co-driver seat, and a 9-speaker JBL sound system. Tata has included six airbags as standard equipment, as well as a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.

Powertrain updates

The Nexon.ev will be offered in two configurations: Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). The former has a 30 kWh battery with a range of 325 km, and the LR has a 40.5 kWh battery with a range of 465 km on a single charge.
The Nexon.ev MR has 127 BHP and 215 Nm of torque, while the LR has 143 BHP and 215 Nm of torque. There are three drive modes available for the car: Eco, City, and Sport. Tata states that the LR variant has a 0-100 km/h time of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 150 km/h.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Expected Price in India

Tata is expected to charge more for the Nexon EV facelift over the present versions, which range between Rs 14.49 lakh to Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
