5 Teachers Held With Fake Appointment Letters In Uttar Pradesh

The game of posting of government teachers on the basis of fake appointment letters has been exposed. The Secondary Education Department has investigated and caught five such teachers. All of them have recently joined three schools of Jhansi. The five accused have been sent to jail after registering an FIR. Action has also been recommended against three principals for posting without the verification of the competent authority.

According to the case, recently the letter of posting of Panchdev, a teacher in Government High School Khadaura Gursarai of Jhansi, reached the Directorate of Secondary Education. In this letter the teacher’s posting was shown on August 1, 2022. On this the officers of the Directorate got suspicious, because there was no recruitment of teachers recently. Additional Director of Education (Government) KK Gupta ordered the DIOS of Jhansi to investigate it. When DIOS called the Principal of the concerned school with all the documents, it came to know that two other people in the same school, Rannvijay Vishwakarma and Narendra Kumar Maurya have also joined the post of teacher on the same date.

Salary was not issued to any teacher posted on fake appointment letter. Search is on for other culprits in the case. Strict action will be taken against them also said KK Gupta, Additional Director of Education (Govt.).

It was also learned that two teachers Maunavati and Amrita Kushwaha have also joined Government High School Veera and Government High School Bamhori Suhagi on July 1. The appointment letters of all the five were similar in appearance. On matching the list of appointed teachers, it was found that the above five were never recruited. After this, on the orders of the DIOS, the concerned principals lodged an FIR against the five teachers. At the same time, the DIOS has recommended disciplinary action against the three principals Poonam, Usha Patwar and Preeti Sagar by informing the DM and SSP of Jhansi about the matter.

Wires connected to many districts and education department

It is being told that this matter is not limited to one district. The strings of this game are suspected to be connected to many districts and to the education department. Actually, all the five teachers who got the posting in Jhansi are all residents of the same district (Azamgarh). Simultaneously, the principals got the joining done without informing the DIOS and Joint Director of Education. For salary, it was necessary to report the deployment in the DIOS office and the directorate, so the report was sent there. Sources say that even this report did not reach the competent authorities. If the employees there had put it in the record, then the salary would have gone further, but an officer got the report of a fake teacher and the fraud came to the fore.
