5 upcoming Cars to look out for in September

Volvo C40 Recharge

On September 4, a new electric vehicle (EV) based on the CMA platform will be unveiled. Reservations will be accepted beginning on September 5. And by the second half of September, the deliveries are projected to start.

It has a 78-kWh battery pack stowed somewhere between its wheels and two electric motors mounted on each axle. The electric motors generate 408 PS and 660 Nm of power and torque. You can go up to 530 kilometers in the WLTP-certified range on a single C40 Recharge charge. A very quick DC charger can charge the battery of the C40 Recharge from 0% to 80% in just 27 minutes.

Tata Nexon Facelift

One of India’s top-selling SUVs, the Tata Nexon, will soon be available in a new design. The SUV being developed by the automaker will be influenced by Tata Motors’ earlier Curvv prototype. The Tata Nexon facelift SUV will get split headlamps as well as several cosmetic improvements. A new, larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which was just made available on the Harrier and Safari, will be added to the interiors. It will probably be available with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, just like the Nexon.

Honda Elevate

For the Honda Elevate SUV, Honda Cars India has already begun taking reservations. In its portfolio, it only has one SUV available in India. There will be four variations of the Elevate SUV available: SV, V, VX, and ZX. The 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine that powers the Honda City sedan will also power the Elevate SUV. 119 horsepower and 145.1 Nm of torque are produced by this engine. The engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission or a sophisticated CVT.

Tata Nexon EV Facelift

On the same day that its ICE counterpart is introduced, India’s top-selling electric vehicle, the Nexon EV, will also debut. Similar to the Nexon facelift SUV, the Tata Nexon EV Facelift is anticipated to receive interior and design upgrades. The powertrain of the electric SUV is unlikely to be changed though. Two battery options for the Nexon EV are now available, with ranges ranging from 312 km to 453 km.

Mercedes EQE

With the introduction of EQE, Mercedes will introduce its third electric car in India. The all-electric EQB SUV and EQS electric sedan will be joined in the inventory by the electric car.
