7 soldiers dead, as Army vehicle falls into Shyok river in Ladakh

A bus full of 26 soldiers has fallen into the river in Ladakh. Seven soldiers of the army have died in this accident and many soldiers are said to be injured. The soldiers were rescued soon after the accident. They all are now admitted to the hospital, but seven soldiers died in the accident and many suffered serious injuries.

This accident happened about 25 km from Thoise. Where the army bus fell into the Shyok river at a depth of about 50-60 feet. In which all the soldiers of the army were injured. All the jawans were shifted to 403 Field Hospital in Partapur and surgical teams were sent from Leh to Partapur. However, seven of these jawans have been declared dead.

The Air Force has also been contacted to help the seriously injured soldiers. He can be sent to Western Command for treatment. For what reasons the army bus slipped from the road and fell into the river, it is not yet clear. An official statement has not been issued by the army regarding this incident.

According to preliminary information, the bus of the soldiers was going from the transit camp towards the forward location of Sub Sector Hanif, during that time this accident happened.
