Veena Kapoor: Actor Veena Kapoor, who was reported murdered by her son, is very much alive and kicking. The actor and her son approached the Mumbai Police and registered a police complaint alleging harassment on social media with the rumours of her death. Recently reports came in that Veena Kapoor’s son Sachin Kapoor had murdered his mother for wealth. Reports claimed son Sachin Kapoor bludgeoned his mother to death with a baseball bat and disposed of her body in a jungle. The alleged murder took place in Mumbai’s posh Juhu area. Another report claimed Sachin was arrested for the crime.

Social media menace
Actors like Nilu Kohli, posted on Instagram that Sachin hit her with a bat and dumped the body in Matheran river near Raigarh district. She said the son allegedly confessed to the murder and admitted that he killed her to grab a plot worth Rs 12 crore.
On Wednesday, Kapoor visited the Dindoshi police station with her son and declared she wasn’t dead. Her son’s name is Abhishek Chadha and not Sachin Kapoor, as claimed.
The mystery unfolds
It is reported that the killed woman was also named Veena Kapoor. Her son Sachin killed her and disposed of the body in Matheran. However, people thought the murdered woman was the actor Veena Kapoor. They even shared condolence messages on social media with the actor’s photographs. Mumbai Police is investigating her complaint.

She told the police people on social media are insulting and defaming her son Abhishek.
She told the media that condolence messages were being shared without confirming the news of her death. She said she was receiving several calls and messages every day and she wasn’t able to concentrate on her work.
She also said the rumour of her death had spread and she wasn’t getting work anymore.
