AJEY The Untold Story Of A Yogi Trailer: The trailer of AJEY: The Untold Story of a Yogi is finally here, and it has already grabbed attention. The film is inspired by Shantanu Gupta’s bestselling book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister.

It follows the journey of a young man who transforms from a student into a sanyasi and later becomes a people’s leader. Directed by Ravindra Gautam, the political drama is set to release in theatres on September 19.

What’s In AJEY The Untold Story Of A Yogi Trailer?

The two minutes and twenty seconds long AJEY trailer begins with the assassination of Purvanchal’s leader Avadhesh Rai. This leads to a curfew in Gorakhpur.

Anantvijay Joshi plays Ajay Anand, who starts out as a college student stepping into politics. He quickly becomes a voice for the youth, but soon decides to leave his home and embrace the life of a yogi for the nation’s greater good.

One of the strongest moments shows Bhojpuri star Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua clicking pictures from a jeep. The next frame introduces Joshi as Yogi Adityanath. He delivers a hard-hitting line – “Hamesha akal ka nahin, kabhi-kabhi bal ka prayog bhi karna padta hai.”

The trailer balances action with emotion. Joshi is seen in intense sequences, but also in reflective moments where he calls politics a form of human service. A key moment shows his Guru (played by Paresh Rawal) saying, “Uddeshya kathin hai, sab kuch tyagna hoga.” Joshi replies, “Sab kuch tyag kar hi aaya hoon.”

The emotional side of the film is also highlighted. Joshi’s onscreen parents are shown saying, “Do saal baad beta mila hai…” Other dialogues like “Ganga to ab bahegi,” “Ek rahoge to safe rahoge,” and “Mera baithna aapko yahan le aaya, sochiye jis din khada ho gaya, us din kya hoga” promise a powerful drama and depth.
