Ankita murder case: Uttarakhand Resort had presidential suite for VIPs

The three accused in the Ankita murder case of Uttarakhand are in the custody of the police. Meanwhile, many things have come to the fore in the investigation of the SIT regarding this case. Special arrangements were made for the VIP guests in the resort. According to the police officers, the Presidential Suite was made for the special guests coming to the resort. SIT's (in-charge DIG) P Renuka Devi has told that the Ankita murder case is being investigated from many angles. The staff of the resort has also been talked to. Along with this, the CCTV footage found regarding the related incident is being scrutinized.

19-year-old Ankita Bhandari went missing on 18 September. Ankita's father had told that when she did not return home, a complaint was made to the police station. However, after this incident, the Pauri administration demolished the resort of the accused with a bulldozer. According to the administration, action was taken against the resort after a complaint of illegal construction. Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar had told that after the order of the CM, the Pauri administration and the police had taken this action.

Complaints were already being received about the resort
While meeting with the officers, CM Dhami had said that this is not a normal incident. Strict action will be taken against anyone who has committed this incident. Dhami has said that the victim will get justice in any case. According to the police, many complaints were already being received about the accused's Vanantra resort. According to the police, incidents of indecency and assault with the employees in this resort are also happening every day.

The Uttarakhand Police recovered the dead body from the Chilla Canal in Rishikesh. The police had called her family members to identify the body. The dead body was identified by the father and brother of the deceased. CM Dhami had directed to constitute an SIT to investigate the matter. At the same time, women had expressed their displeasure against the accused. The women had publicly beaten up the accused by stopping the police vehicle.
