He objected to what he portrayed as Gupta’s reaction to the terms and publicly criticised her over the incident.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Anurag Dhanda has criticised Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta over a remark involving the words “Dalit, Peedit, Shoshit”, accusing her of laughing while the terms were being mentioned.

In a post on social media platform X, Dhanda expressed his disapproval of the alleged conduct and described it as “extremely shameful”.

“Dalit, Peedit, Shoshit….hahaha… This is Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta,” Dhanda wrote in Hindi, tagging the Chief Minister in his post.

Anurag Dhanda Questions Rekha Gupta’s Conduct

Dhanda’s post focused on the words used to describe marginalised, distressed and exploited sections of society. He objected to what he portrayed as Gupta’s reaction to the terms and publicly criticised her over the incident.

The AAP leader’s post did not provide further details about the setting in which the alleged remark was made or the circumstances surrounding it.

Political Controversy Over Remarks on Marginalised Communities

The words “Dalit, Peedit, Shoshit” are commonly used in political discourse to refer to oppressed, disadvantaged and vulnerable sections of society. References to these communities often feature in debates over social justice, representation and welfare policies.

Dhanda’s criticism has brought attention to the alleged exchange involving the Delhi Chief Minister. However, the full context of the incident and Gupta’s response were not established in the social media post.

The development adds to the political exchanges between AAP leaders and the BJP-led Delhi government, with Dhanda using social media to publicly question the Chief Minister’s conduct.
