The community has reportedly expressed concern over the impact of the alleged encroachment on their livelihoods and access to ancestral land.

His remarks came after media reports cited concerns raised by the Nah tribal community in the state’s Upper Subansiri district.

Sharing the report on social media, Dhanda alleged that China has occupied Indian territory over the past six years while accusing the Narendra Modi-led government of neglecting border villages. He questioned whether the Prime Minister had shown sufficient resolve to protect the country’s territory.

The Central Government has not issued any official response to Anurag

The criticism follows reports that members of the Nah tribal community have claimed that portions of their traditional grazing and hunting lands in Upper Subansiri district have allegedly come under the control of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) over the past six years.

According to the reported claims, the affected areas have long been used by local tribal communities for grazing livestock and other traditional activities. The community has reportedly expressed concern over the impact of the alleged encroachment on their livelihoods and access to ancestral land.

The Central Government has not issued any official response to Anurag Dhanda’s remarks. The allegations made by the AAP leader are political statements, while the reported claims regarding the border situation stem from concerns raised by the tribal community and have not been independently verified in this context.
