Ather 450X EV Special Edition: A new version of the company’s flagship Ather 450X electric scooter is apparently being introduced by Bengaluru-based Ather Energy, an electric mobility startup. The product will honour Ather’s ten years in the electric mobility business and is reportedly going to be called Special Edition by the company. Even though the 450X Anniversary Edition’s precise technical specifications are unknown, rumours linger that it would feature better acceleration and a faster peak speed. A top speed of 90 km/h is claimed for the regular 450X, which is said to go from 0 to 40 km/h in 3.3 seconds.
Expected design and feature details
In order to commemorate the occasion, this limited-edition scooter will also feature a distinctive design.
The 450X Gen 4 will inherit the new joy stick layout for its switchgear from the newly released 450S, so the feature list may be significantly modified.
Expected price and availability
The scooter will probably only be sold in a small number of units when it launches on the market in the future quarter. The top Ather 450X already sells for Rs 1.65 lakh ex-showroom; thus, this special version is likely to cost more than Rs 1.7 lakh.
