The Tesla Model 3 competitor will welcome attendees and journalists at the auto show in Greater Noida. The BYD Seal, which is based on the Ocean X concept and is influenced by Ocean Aesthetics’ styling philosophy, is already accessible in many worldwide markets. The Seal, which is built on a specific skateboard platform, has a length of 4.80 metres, a width of 1.87 metres, a height of 1.46 metres, and a wheelbase of 2.92 metres.

Exterior and Interior

The exterior of the electric sedan is futuristic, with a forward-dipping bonnet, a sharp headlamp cluster, a roofline resembling a coupe, strong character lines on the sides, sporty alloy wheels, clever door handles, short overhangs, an aggressive bumper with wide lower air intake, boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, a full-width LED light bar covering the width, and other features.

On the inside, there are many similarities to the BYD Atto 3, particularly the 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system. A HUD, a 10.25-inch digital instrument dashboard, fewer physical buttons, configurable drive modes, wireless phone chargers, huge AC vents, a flat-bottom steering wheel, and a two-tone cabin motif are other highlights.

Battery and Range

The BYD Seal has battery packs that are 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh in size, both of which use the renowned Blade battery technology. In the Chinese driving cycle, the smaller battery has a claimed range of about 550 km, while the larger battery has a claimed range of 700 km on a single charge. Globally, both single and multiple motor variants are offered in a wide variety.

Also, The dual motor AWD version is said to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.8 seconds and have a range of up to 650 km. Its combined power output is 530 horsepower. At the automotive expo, the Seal will be joined by the Atto 3 and e6.
