Bajaj Platina: One of the most well-known motorcycles in its class, the Bajaj Platina has recently been upgraded by the manufacturer to include an Anti Lock Braking System for even greater performance (ABS). There are a total of three colours for this bike that are for sale.

For those who are interested in affordable and better-mileage two-wheelers, Bajaj Auto has introduced the Bajaj Platina 110 to the market. In the entire nation, it is the least expensive motorcycle with an ABS. It is the first motorcycle in the 110 cc class to include ABS. The beginning price of this commuter bike, which is adorned with a stunning appearance and a powerful motor, has been set at only 72,224. (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Bajaj Platina specifications and features

In some ways, this is an improved version, and the company has included some unique technology and features. A 115.45 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine with fuel injection technology powers this motorcycle. This engine produces a maximum of 9.81 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm and 8.4 bhp of power at 7,000 rpm. A 5-speed transmission is coupled to this engine.

The business has added twin spring-loaded and shock observer suspension to the front of the new Platina 110 ABS. The business asserts that it provides a comfortable ride in addition to superior performance in the market. While the back wheel has a standard drum brake, the front wheel has a disc brake with Anti Lock Braking System (ABS). This motorcycle has a digital instrument cluster with a single-channel ABS and a display for all of the vehicle's data.

According to the manufacturer, the new Platina's ABS enables balanced braking in an emergency while also utilising Comfortec technology. You can ride this bike with ease because to the spacious seat. In addition, daytime running lights (DRLs) and headlights have been utilised to provide greater nighttime lighting.

Launch and CBS

Speaking at the launch of the bike, Sarang Kanade - President, of Motorcycles - Bajaj Auto said, “Our internal study of riding conditions shows that at least 91% of commuter motorcyclists experience panic braking at least once a month. With the new Platina 110 ABS, we want to provide the riders full control in case of emergency braking. We are confident that this ABS technology will give riders the most balanced and best braking experience in the segment."

Combi Braking System (CBS) and Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) are required on motorcycles with engines under 125 cc, respectively, in accordance with Indian market regulations. But by including ABS into this 115 cc bike, Bajaj Auto has improved upon their attempt. Three other colours, including Ebony Black, Cocktail Wine Red, and Sapphire Blue, are offered for purchase with this bike.
