Bengal Reopening Of Schools For Kids After Two Years

Bengal Primary School: The Government of West Bengal has issued a separate notification directing all the district magistrates and officials of primary and secondary schools to start classes from nursery to class seven from tomorrow (16 February).

In a notification issued to the district magistrates, the school education department said that the additional district magistrate should act as the nodal officer to coordinate with the upper primary and primary schools to ensure that schools are sanitized and following the COVID protocols.

“All non-teaching staff of classes I to VII have been asked to come to their schools by February 15 so that classes can be started from February 16,” the notification said.

For lower classes, classes will start after a gap of about two years after the outbreak of the Covid epidemic. Offline classes for students of class VIII to XII have started from February 3.
