Punjab Police has intensified its statewide crackdown against drug trafficking under Mission ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’, completing 295 days of continuous action against the narcotics network. The campaign, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, aims to dismantle drug supply chains, strengthen prevention mechanisms, and steer Punjab’s youth towards a drug-free future.

According to official data shared by Punjab Police, coordinated raids and search operations were conducted at 366 locations across the state as part of the ongoing mission. These operations led to the arrest of 151 drug smugglers, marking another significant step in the sustained fight against narcotics. With these latest arrests, the total number of drug traffickers apprehended over 295 days has risen to 41,207, reflecting the scale and consistency of enforcement efforts.
