Lumpy skin disease is wreaking havoc in Rajasthan. Thousands of cows have lost their lives in the state due to the lumpy virus. At the same time, the opposition party BJP is attacking the Gehlot government of the state regarding this issue. In the capital Jaipur, BJP workers are protesting vigorously against the Gehlot government.
Hundreds of BJP workers have taken to the streets in Jaipur today. Barricading has been done by the police to stop the BJP workers. The protesters are raising slogans against the Gehlot government. Police is trying hard to stop them.
Many princely states of the country are affected by the havoc of Lumpy virus. Lakhs of animals have lost their lives in many states including Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh. In Rajasthan, the maximum number of animals have died due to Lumpy viral.
In Bikaner, Rajasthan, 300 cows are dying every day due to this virus. According to the report, so far this virus has killed thousands of animals only in Rajasthan. According to official figures, more than 45 thousand animals have died due to lumpy virus in Rajasthan so far.
The people of Rajasthan are so in awe of the Lumpy virus that the people of the village have stopped drinking the milk of animals due to the fear of spreading the disease, while the supply of milk and ghee to the dairies in the cities has also been affected. Controlling the lumpy virus has become a big challenge for the Rajasthan government.
