BMW Group has launched the MINI Charged Edition in India which is based on the all-electric MINI 3-door Cooper SE. The all new MINI Charged Edition will come to India as a completely Built Unit (CBU). In India, currently the sale will be restricted for only 20 Units. The all new MINI Charged Edition comes with a new colour, which is Chilli Red, this color scheme comes with a multi-tone roof with a white finish. The trim of the car comes with Aspen White Interiors whuch has its LED Headlamps and tail lamps with white painted highlighted rings, door handles, logos and tailgate handle. There are frozen red sports stripes with the yellow highlights on the boonnet, doors and boot of the car, it also comes with an air inlet with a chrome finish on the bonnet. This limited edition boasts 17 inch power-spoke Alloy wheels with an energetic yellow highlights for a different appearance.

The vehicle is powered with a 135 kW electric motor which prouces the maximum power output of 181 bhp and a peak torque of 270 Nm. The electric hatchback is capable enough to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.3 seconds and gets a 32.6 kWh battery pack whih gives the drive range of 270 km on a single charge. Talking about the features, the MINI Charged Edition comes with in-built navigation, Apple CarPlay, a Harman Kardon speaker system, wireless charging and many other premium features. The electric car gets two driving modes – Sport and Green. Driver Assistance Systems include Cruise Control,Park Distance Control, Rear View Camera and Tyre Pressuur Monitoring system.
