Adani Total Gas Limited: Compressed natural gas (CNG) and petroleum natural gas (PNG) prices were both decreased by Rs. 8.13 per kilogramme and Rs. 5.06 per standard cubic metre, respectively, according to Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL). (scm). The new prices went into effect at midnight on April 8th. The price change followed the Union Cabinet's Thursday approval of new gas pricing policies. It pave the way for India's natural gas prices to be correlated with world oil prices.
Saving of over 40% for CNG consumers relative to Petrol prices
The Administered Price Mechanism (APM) Price for petrol delivery to CNG cars. Residential families will now be linked to 10% of the Indian crude basket. With a base price of $4 and a ceiling price of $6.5 per MMBTU, according to a statement from ATGL. According to a statement, "In line with our policy to prioritise our end consumers, ATGL has decided to pass through the benefit of the New Gas Pricing guidelines announced by the Government of India. This is Done due to the large number of Home PNG and CNG consumers. Thus enhancing the affordability of PNG and CNG with a saving of over 40% for CNG consumers relative to Petrol prices and around 15% relative to Home PNG consumers relative to LPG prices."

Reduction in the retail price of domestic PNG by Rs 5 per scm
"ATGL is glad to announce a price reduction for CNG up to Rs 8.13 per kg and PNG up to Rs 5.06 per scm. Both of which take effect at midnight tomorrow. The attached table shows the decrease in gas prices for CNG and PNG in all of our Geographical Areas (GAs) nationwide, it continued. After the Cabinet meeting, Union Minister Anurag Thakur informed the media that natural gas from legacy or old fields, known as APM gas, will henceforth be priced according to crude oil prices rather than on gas prices in surplus countries like the US, Canada, and Russia. As opposed to the current practise of a bi-annual modification, he remarked, "Rates will be decided every month." A Gail India subsidiary called Mahanagar Gas announced a reduction in the retail price of domestic PNG by Rs 5 per scm and CNG by Rs 8 per kg across its licenced territory on Friday.
