Apple Giving Retail Store Employees In India Rs 1 Lakh Per Month, Here’s Detail

Just as Apple’s smartphones get expensive, in the same way, the company also gives a hefty salary to the employees working in the Apple Store. The company does not give 50-60 or 80 thousand to the employees working here, but some other amount. Apple has recently opened two of its official stores in India, one of which is located at Jio World Drive Mall in Mumbai and the other at Select City Walk Mall in the capital Delhi. More than 170 employees are working in these two stores. This employee is not a normal sales person, but you will be surprised to know their degree and salary.

According to an Economic Times report, the employees working in the Apple Store have degrees in subjects like MTech, MBA, Electrical Engineering, BTech, Packaging, Robotics and Automation Engineering. There are some employees who have completed their graduation from Cambridge and Griffith University. There are some employees whom the company has transferred from Europe to Delhi and Mumbai. The employees working in the Mumbai store know more than 25 languages while the employees working in the capital Delhi speak 15 different languages.

Annual package information

The company has not given any official statement on how much salary Apple gives to its store employees. According to the news of Economic Times, the company gives a package of at least Rs 1 lakh per month and 12 lakh or more annually to the employees of the store. This salary package is 50 times more than the employees working in common mobile phone stores. Apple not only gives salary to the employees, but according to the Apple website, employees are given medical plans, educational courses, health benefits, other types of grants for the family and heavy discounts on Apple products.

The rent of the store itself is surprising

The way Apple spends big money on employees, the company is doing the same with its stores. Apple is spending 42 lakhs every month for its store in Mumbai and about 40 lakhs in Delhi. The company gives this money as rent. Apart from this, some part of the revenue is also shared with the store owner.
