Gold Rate Today: The price of 10 kilogrammes of gold for April 5, 2023, on the MCX, increased marginally by 1.49 percent or Rs 855 to close at Rs 58, 338.
The price of silver futures that expire on May 5, 2023 increased today as well, rising by 0.57 percent or Rs 384 to reach Rs 67, 340 per kilogramme.

Gold was trading up 0.72 percent at Rs 56,554 per 10 gram article on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). On the other hand, silver for May futures was trading 1.04 per cent higher at Rs 63,547 per kilogram on a kilogram basis. Amid mixed global cues, gold touched a new high of 58,660 post-Budget and set a new record price.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

This is an exchange for commodities like the BSE is for stocks and shares. The MCX sells the products in bulk.

The price of gold has increased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has increased from Rs 55121 per 10 kilos yesterday evening to Rs 55286 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, silver is increased from Rs. 64407 per kg. to Rs. 64646 per kg.
