Gold Rate Today: Nearly 0.20 percent was lost by the gold April futures, which dropped below Rs 55,000 for 10 grammes. It had a quote of Rs 54,930. As May futures were quoted at Rs May futures were trading at Rs 61,710, down by almost 0.60 percent, and silver prices were also falling on the MCX.

Gold April Futures slipped nearly 0.20 per cent to crack below Rs 55,000 per 10 grams. It quoted at Rs 54,930. Silver too was trading lower on MCX as May Futures quoted at Rs May futures were trading at Rs 61,710,down by nearly 0.60 per cent.

Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.

The price of gold has decreased today compared to yesterday, according to IBJA. The price of gold has decreased from Rs 56140 per 10 kilos yesterday evening to Rs 56085 per 10 grammes today. The cost of silver, on the other hand, silver is decreased from Rs. 64407 per kg. to Rs. 64246 per kg.
