Gold Rate Today: Prior to the commencement of the holiday season, silver and gold prices are once again on the rise. Today, the price of gold has increased by Rs. 48, while the price of silver has increased by Rs. 97. At the moment, silver is selling for about Rs. 56764 and gold is about Rs. 49654. Along with this, the price of gold is dropping by Rs. 6500 every 10 grams, and the price of silver is roughly Rs. 23200 per kilogram lower than it has ever been.
Statuses of Gold and Silver on IBJA
According to the website of Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA), on the fourth day of this trading week, on Thursday (22 September), gold became expensive by Rs. 48. per ten grams and opened at Rs. 49654 per ten grams. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, gold became expensive by Rs. 238 per ten grams and closed at Rs. 49606 per 10 grams.

On the other hand, today silver (Silver Price Update) became expensive at the rate of Rs. 97 per kg and opened at Rs. 56764 per kg. Whereas on the last trading day on Wednesday, silver became costlier by Rs 313 and closed at Rs. 56667 per kg.
Silver and Gold Prices on the MCX
Gold is currently trading with a strong trend on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), similar to the Indian Bullion Jewelers Association (IBJA). Gold has increased in price by 61 rupees today on the MCX, reaching a level of Rs. 49,504. Silver, meanwhile, is down by Rs 60 and trading at a level of Rs. 57,238.
From all-time highs, gold 6500 and silver 23200 are becoming less expensive
Following this decline, the price of gold per 10 grams is today Rs. 6546 lower than it was at its peak. August 2020 became the highest point in gold's history. At that time, the price of gold had increased to Rs. 56,200 for 10 kilos. Silver was also declining in price at a rate of roughly Rs. 23216 per kilogram from its peak. Silver is now priced at Rs. 79980 per kilogram. In such a scenario, people who intend to purchase gold or silver may find that this presents a favourable time to do so.
Price of 14 to 24 carat gold
Accordingly, the current price for 10 grammes of 24 carat gold is Rs. 49654, for 10 grammes of 23 carat gold, Rs. 49455, for 10 grams of 22 carat gold, Rs. 45483, for 10 grams of 18 carat, Rs. 37242, and for 10 grams, approximately, of 14 carat gold. It is currently retailing at Rs 290048 for every 10 grams.

Conditions for gold and silver on the global market
In contrast to the Indian bullion market, gold and silver are currently trading with a decline on the global market. The price of gold is declining on the global market. Gold is currently selling for $1,659.27 per ounce in the US, down $7.26. Silver, on the other hand, is currently trading at $ 19.36 per ounce, down $ 0.10 from its previous close.
