Gold Rate Update: For the second day in a row, silver and gold prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). At the time of market closure, the cost of 10 grammes of gold was Rs 59,188, and the cost of 1 kilogramme of silver was Rs 73,546.

On the MCX, gold futures with a maturity date of August 4, 2023, were trading at Rs. 59,285 per 10 grammes, down just Rs. 87 or 0.15 percent. Similar to gold, which had a rise of Rs 334 or 0.45%, silver futures with a maturity date of September 5, 2023 also saw a decline and were trading at Rs 73,947 per kg on the MCX.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.
