Gold Rate Update: Today's precious metals exhibit a mixed trend. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver prices have increased while gold prices are declining. When the market closed, the price of gold was Rs 59,239 for 10 grammes, and the price of silver was Rs 75,326 for 1 kg.

On the MCX, gold futures with a maturity date of August 4, 2023, were trading at Rs 59,308 per 10 grammes, down just Rs 42 (or 0.7%). A gain of Rs 244 or 0.32 percent was also seen in silver futures, maturing on September 5, 2023, which were trading at Rs 75,700 per kg on the MCX.
Multi Commodity Exchange of India is the full form of MCX. It is an autonomous body for commodity exchange in India. It offers to trade in bullion, energy and agricultural commodities apart from non-ferrous metals.
