Good News for Delhi Home Buyers: DDA Extends Deadline for Housing Scheme 2025, Check Details

DDA Housing Scheme 2025: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) launched the DDA Special Housing Scheme 2025 and the DDA Workers Housing Scheme on January1, 2025. These schemes were launched to cater the need of every section (EWS, LIG, MIG, and HIG) of society to buy affordable houses in Delhi.

What is extended deadline of DDA Housing Scheme 2025?

The Delhi Development Authority announced that the deadline for registration under the 'DDA Housing Scheme 2025' has been extended to April 30. This extension provides extra time to the interested people to buy houses in Delhi who could not register yet. Although the last date for registration had ended a long time ago, the Delhi Development Authority has extended the deadline many times before this new deadline.

Who is eligible for DDA Workers Housing Scheme?

According to Delhi Development Authority, the DDA Workers Housing Scheme is especially for the building and construction workers. DDA cleared that registration with the Delhi Building, Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (DBOCWWB) and PM Vishwakarma Scheme mandatory for the workers. EWS flats are offered to the workers whose price range is ₹ 11.54 lakh to ₹ 11.67 lakh and after proposed 25% discount it will comes to ₹ 8.65 lakh to ₹ 8.8 lakh.

Area, price and other details

• DDA confirmed that 700 EWS flats are being built in the Narela region and their sales are on first-come, first-serve basis. The starting price of the flat in this category is ₹ 11.54 lakh to ₹ 11.67 lakh with area of 34sqm to 35.1sqm. Moreover, a special discount of 25% is also allowed to the different disadvantaged sections after which it will be ₹ 8.65 lakh to ₹ 8.8 lakh.

• Starting price of LIG flats is ₹ 14 lakh with area of 33 sqm.

• For MIG, starting price is ₹ 1 crore with area of 112 sqm while starting price for HIG is ₹ 1.4 crore having area of 160 sqm.

• Registration fee is ₹ 2500 for each category and booking fee is ₹ 50000, 1 lakh, 4 lakh and 10 lakh for EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG respectively. Registration fee and booking fee both are non-refundable.

Who are eligible for 25% discount as disadvantages sections?

For EWS and LIG Flats:

• Auto Rickshaw Drivers and Cab Drivers operating in Delhi having permit and registration in his name from the Transport Department, GNCTD on or before 31.12.2024.

• Persons registered under the PM Svanidhi Scheme such as Street vendors/ hawkers.

• Women

• WarWidows

• Ex-Servicemen and Recipients of Gallantry and Arjuna Awards

• Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan)

• Persons belonging to SC/ST Category

For MIG flats at Narela & Loknayakpuram and HIG Flats at Narela
