Google has been fined Rs 936.44 crore in India

Google has been fined Rs 936.44 crore in India. On Tuesday, CCI (Competition Commission of India) has imposed this fine on the giant tech company. This fine has been imposed on Google for misusing its dominance. CCI has asked Google to stop anticompetition practice.

Apart from this, CCI has said that app developers should not be allowed to directly connect with customers and also from offer promotion. Last week too, Google was fined Rs 1,337.76 crore by the CCI in another case due to its anti-competition practice.

Fine has been imposed in India in two cases

CCI had imposed this fine because of wrongly taking advantage of its strong position in the Android segment. These fines have been imposed on Google in two different cases. However, both the cases were related to entry-competition practice.

The Competition Commission of India (Competition Commission of India) had already asked Google to stop unfair business activities. Along with this, it was also directed to find a solution in a stipulated time frame.

Notices have also been sent to other companies

According to the information, not only Google but other companies in India were also sent notices to take advantage of their dominance. Nokis has been sent to Google, Apple, Amazon, Netflix and Microsoft in the matter of anti-competition practice.

Like India, in other countries too, these companies have been fined for taking advantage of their strong position. Recently, Apple was fined for not giving a charger in the box.

A Brazilian court had fined Apple $ 20 million for not giving the charger in the box. At the same time, the court has also asked Apple to give the charger in the box. In this way Google has been accused of ending its competition in the past.
